This is our proprietary software and switchless routing platform, which is the heart of the Jupiter Communications Network. The system deploys a Cisco XR 12000 platform with integral Session Border Control ("SBC") functionality & VOS3000, enabling voice and data call access control, ensuring that bandwidth is available to support sessions before they begin, and facilitating per-session control and management of IP voice and multimedia traffic on standards-based protocols such as SIP and H.323. The system can scale to support more than 200,000 simultaneous sessions on a single chassis. Our Jupiter Voice Platform Controller is located within our Global Network Operations Center in Miami, Florida. In case of controller failure due to hurricane damage or any other exigency, we maintain a fully-redundant backup Next Voice Platform Controller at a secure location in another region.
